was beyond happy for both bayu risa and roman foot soldiers as parts of the local artists line-up for love garage. thank you everyone for the love and support! do really appreciate it, even the ways you all move your body, clapping your hands and even just tapping your palm to your pants :)

i stopped taking pictures at bag raiders because i refused to get my hands full during royksopp and erol alkan set. was taking a break during rory phillips' set at the booth because i couldn't handle the heat. overall, it was such a delight!

went to love garage day 1 as a main supporter of bayu risa. pictures are taken by yoga, a fellow workmate whose wolf tattoo is so rad by the way. was a great day, meeting friends and colleagues and got to shop pieces in sale prices. you should really buy the ticket to shop at the night market (which technically opens from gate open) because so many great offers are provided to you, ahem, all of us, smart shoppers :) happy go lucky is giving sale 50 up to 90%, nikicio has this desk of 'all 50.000 rupiahs' items and this box of worth of 100.000 rupiahs per item.

do also visit the goods cafe because the bailey's milkshake would be a perfect closure of a great night. day 2 will be on wednesday and my boys from roman foot soldiers are going to perform. first performance after luky's surgery by the way and momma is so excited. okay, i'll have to rest a bit now. meeting tomorrow and no briefing yet means waking up earlier. see you wednesday! give some love to my boys:)

i am in the state of 'lost of words' because where in the world did expect to have a dinner with boss and friends with the drummer of yeah yeah yeahs? i mean, where in the world really! it's such a humbling experience, because brian is such a humble and sincere person. it feels like you share the table with someone who you just met and it's no big deal at all. only, it's brian chase. he smiles a lot and very talkative too. i must admit that i'm not that big of a fan of yeah yeah yeahs but i truly respect their music. gold lion would be my most favorite because it's just..banging! and it's not that i'm friends with him after the dinner or that we really 'did' hang out but there were only seven of us and i was just two seats away from him and all i can say is, he has such calming personality. i would say that this is definitely one of the perks of my job and truly grateful that i have a such great boss who's kind enough to invite me to join the dinner with his wife, brother and friends. i'm adding two people in my long list of new acquaintances, tia and brian that is and honestly feel happy and thankful how my job allows me to meet more new people. really nice to meet both of them for the first time and hopefully, not the only time :) have a nice dream darlings!

celebrating viviyip's 40th birthday, this exhibition brings together such amazing artists in one space beneath the breezy air of a saturday night on south jakarta. took place at dia.lo.gue artspace, 40x40 features the artsy works of YICA (angki purbandono, agan harahap, arkiv vilmansa, badruzzman, erik pauhrizi, hendra hehe harsono, syagini ratna wulan, sutra djarot, theresia agustina sitompul, wastuwidyawan) with indra leonardi, davy linggar, erika ernawan and nicoline patricia malina.

if you further notice, yeap! that's two pictures of my boss captured by nicoline patricia malina who told me that the curator browsed on her many beautiful pictures at several wonderful places but then stopped at the photo on top, saying that it explains something. then nicoline and i giggled the moment she finished the sentence because we referred the 'good something' to something else. i personally like the photo at the bottom with how it's beautifully came out on the chosen media it's printed. would be scary to have the photo on top, would be as irritating as 'boss is (always) watching all'

i recommend leboye store at dia.lo.gue, many pretty-built one of a kind-made by locals things in relatively affordable prices. the shop assistants are very helpful and kind, with a broad product knowledge (which i rarely find in small shops, by the way). it's in kemang selatan 99A (not far from the front side of dorcas boutique and moe's place and venue). open monday-saturday, would be a good alternative for those of you who enjoy crafting and its magic.

i recall to the last time someone made me swayed away by love. he used to call me with flattering names, like gorgeous, even my lady. i used to put his name as epiphany in the contact book of my old and now totally dysfunctional cellphone. i once believed he would be the person to change my viewpoints on love. all i forgetting was, the fact that everything changes too.

oh and by the way i have started not only one, but two, tumblr blogs. feel free to head over to PINKISH HOLE where i generally share/throw tantrums/be corny about being the alpha-female because i'm working with five alpha-males plus the additional of the all male bands and even, all the clients are males? oh well..and to REWIND/REMIND if you want to read some of my writings (i'm thinking of transferring my facebook notes there), mostly poems, about love (you may as well 'nyeh' it) and or relationships (between self/others). i'm planning to make another tumblr as the homebase of my first publication ever because i have finally convinced myself to share one of the novels i've been keeping just for me, to be embraced at a public sphere level. my biggest target this year is to rule the world so i have to start somewhere.

i'm just tired with all the (sorry i have to say it) lame obsession people have toward fashion. i somehow believe, the people who are the greatest in the fashion industry everywhere are the ones who simply adore the multidimensional forms of beauty and willing to translate it into something more simple. now that people has taken fashion more seriously, we all shall have the need to understand that when we dress ourselves, we're putting a mission on how we want people to recognize our most significant character. so basically, if you're wearing expensive things without looking 'significant' it's non-sense. fashion isn't something that you can learn about, it's something you have to experience, personally. don't talk fashion when you don't understand fashion.

the long awaited video is finally here! directed by fashion's key people nicoline patricia malina x anindita saryuf, the video presents such visual breakthrough; setting a new benchmark among local music scene. the black and white tone, blurry and dimensional scenery, and not to mention absolute gorgeous abs, officially make the video as amusing and hypnotizing. it's the vibe of youth, freedom, love and lust in a great bond of energy. so much in love! once again, i have to say that i'm a proud momma :)

went to the opening last night with friends from stereocase who were nice enough to offer me a ride. snacks were nice, i found some decorations as amusing and proud with the local denim industry. they are stepping up the game by providing good qualities and exhibiting them. there was an exhibition of used jeans and one fact is, for some types of denim the less you wash them, the more they show their shape. there's also a denim market and photo gallery that you are welcome to enjoy until tomorrow. please mind the last photo, though.

met some of long lost friends of a friend last night at the opening of brightspot market and someone said i was crazy skinny. oh well. even a person i see almost every week keeps saying it every time i get to meet him. i'm not crazy skinny i guess, but compared to my normal weight it's pretty drastic. i don't take the acai berry pills anymore so i guess, i'll just have to wait and see. but generally, i always skip breakfast, eat small portion for lunch and grab something before dinner time. midnight hunger is sort of exceptional though.

my boys from roman foot soldiers delivered a great performance on the radio last night. and it's official that gemini is my second favorite song after the canal. video has been finalized, so soon enough, everyone will get to see the super trippy video. it's the kind of a video which will set a new benchmark. original and fresh! yeah, i dare to say that!

it's going to be a super hectic week next week but it's good considering i no longer in a diet. hope to meet my girls tomorrow and totally seek to attend the last day of brightspot market with mom. i'm craving for those monstore t-shirts (because i'm a sucker for amusing writings) and other things i might not discovered yet.

been in a very heavy mind and soul lately; work has been stressful, personal issues are stacking on every corner and last night, i was at the point where i couldn't take it all. i received a message and was about to cry, in front of some people. so i decided to move to another place, but then it was the back of someone's car. i didn't want to look ridiculous when someone found me there. so i finally walked. just walked, with nowhere to go. i was trying to distract myself from crying and i was ready to runaway from everything, even from life. it wasn't the first time that i became suicidal but it's surely been the heaviest i've ever been.

i turned my phones off, i refused to think that there is someone looking for me. in my first route, i've discovered that i still have a certain fear of death, tried to face it and made it through. then i met this old man under the overpass and i thought he was just sitting there alone. as i passed him, i could see obviously he's next to a boy lying powerless with eyes closed and very pale face. so i asked the old man, by assuming that the boy is his son 'what's happening with your son?' he was just looking at me, saying 'he's sick'. i took a couple of steps away, i grabbed for my purse in my bag then i took something and gave it to him. he was just accepting it, he didn't say anything. i was just saying 'you can use it to get some supplies and medicines', he was still staring at me. so i decided to just leave him and the boy, with a final glance by saying to him 'i hope he gets better'. the moment i took my steps forward, i was about to cry for once more. it was like my logic saying 'now you want to say that your life is screwed?'

then i move forward, through the sidewalk where skyscrapers are the common view of the street. i saw an ojek driver and a taxi driver who were approaching a customer who was a girl stepping out from a building's area. after few steps away, probably three, i heard two men yelling as a bus passing. i assume it was the two drivers who helped the girl getting her wanted transportation means. it's like they're in a competition and letting someone else be a winner because they just have to take the fact that they aren't the chosen ones, so they just have to play fair and be supportive. i guess i have just proved that good moral still exists.

i moved on and saw a cute guy being called by, again, i assume, his friend and i was like 'oh, he's cute', street musicians and people waiting to get home, probably people with somewhere to go. i was stopped by the fact that there's a public transportation which i used to travel with for sometime during my first year in college. i sat there, i even fell a bit asleep. i stopped at one point and gave the driver the amount of what i felt like giving. the driver didn't shout at me, so i guess it was okay. i had to face my fear again because i had to cross the overpass. it was still as scary. i walked further and finally was so close to home.

i decided to take my ipod and listen to m83's midnight city. i remembered what someone told me earlier last night when i told him that i haven't made up my mind on whether i'm going to catch laneway festival in singapore or not, he said 'just go! you have the right to party.' going to party wasn't his point, i know. he just wanted me to take a break from my emotional baggage. he's like my break to the unlimited speed. as i reached closer to home, i was trying harder to think over something positive. lying deep, i was secretly thankful.

i reached home, went straight to my room; soaking wet. i took my phones and turned the power on. i sent a message to my 'break to the unlimited speed' friend, texting 'i've made it home'. still, i was so dark i tried to pass my limit. i sent a picture of 8 pills in my hand to my boyfriend and he begged me to not do anything to those. i took 4, i threw the other 4 to the garbage can. i then took a call from my friend, i asked him what would make me die and he's giving me 'work and love'. he also told me that i'm a shortcuter and with his signature laugh, he said i'm stupid.

early in the morning, sty called saying that she wanted to hit my head on the wall so i can realize that i was stupid. my boyfriend, he stays with me through all of these. he knows that i'm a mess but he never expects me to be normal. he just simply wants me to be okay. i told my boss what i carried on me, he said 'everything in life has a solution'.

i'm not really sure of why i'm writing this here but i feel like i have a responsibility to admit that i am stupid. i'm not giving a promise that it won't happen anymore but i surely have had learn a lot things from it. walking is good to release the tense. however lost i'm trying to be, i'll always find home as my final destination. no matter how evil i wish i could be, GOD has always reminds me that i am a blessed person.

i still feel like throwing up. there's an energy in my stomach pushing something to be let go. reality, it gives you lessons not promises.

honestly in love with this new baby pair. the nude color is amazing and it's so easy to wear them. it really fits and feels light, especially when on stairs that i think i might just be able to run with them. they have been on my rack for couple of weeks and it's a great add when using black on black.

i feel like making the right decisions on some of my belongings, like clothes and accessories but i guess, it grows naturally as i grow..hmm, okay..older. i want to have things that can be worn in many different occasions and can be mix-matched by other things without getting or looking bored. i accidentally bought this nikicio for centro draped skirt in bigger size and i'm glad that i did. it allows me to play with the skirt's length and therefore create more looks to be mix-matched.

oh, and happy idul fitri for those who celebrate. hope you have a holy and peaceful one as well as enjoying the great food! because i do enjoy the 'lebaran' food :)

so, i finally bought the mirror i fell in love with at the first sight. correct that, mom bought me the mirror; from tick tock. also had a date with mom and sty watching kung fu panda 2. the movie is funny, as expected and we had great laughs and giggles. this wall i took my picture at is a great colorful graffiti wall. i was enjoying the epicentrum walk a lot; there's something about the vibe that is soothing, well probably because it's not too crowded by people and it's an open space. oh, and the boss is going to open his lounge there too. soon. and i'll keep you posted on that matter.

going jakarta-bandung-jakarta in three times during this week has really beaten me up. it's quite a hectic month for work but i'm super stoked to do the upcoming projects. september is coming soon and the breezy air still pretty much hasn't showed up. i don't believe in seasons anymore though i know, that summer is over.

i need to collect more white in my closet, i know it's never too much when it comes to black but realizing how many mosquitoes actually fly around my black clothes, it's fair to add some white. next week is going to be a busy week, i guess mostly for everyone because it's getting close to idul fitri and i'm going to have to visit bandung three times. and there are things i have to take care as well. i met a person who said i always look happy and i was quite surprised. it came effortlessly, i never try to look happy, i just try to be as patient and as professional as possible when it comes to work and probably because i'm not good at staying neutral, i become sort of over-excited at times which may become the reason of why people think i'm always happy.

so august is coming. many anticipated birthdays of family and friends. going to spend times at bandung. yeah, definitely, for sure. there's a tempting job opening but no thank you. i'm very happy at where i am right now. it's not a comfort zone; i'm enjoying what i'm doing right now. i get to meet a lot of fun people plus it's adventurous. would love to take some pictures in bandung, but i have to stay focus. my target is 5 places in a day. let's see.

work has been pretty heavy but i manage to sneak some family time in it. i've learned a lot over this past week, mostly about success. i learn that most people i look up to, those who have been having successful life, are ones who work with priority scale. but no matter what, family always comes first for them. it's not necessarily about spending more time with the family than working but more about being there for the family in most conditions they can work on; they are willingly making adjustments to anything else when it comes to family.

i've also learned that everything in this world needs plan b-z, my niece said she manages her life as a puzzle; finding the right fit to complete the whole picture. from that, i learn that as human beings we need to move from one finish line to others and keep on going like that. we need to know our timing, we need to consider all things and it's best to take reality as the shadow we see in the mirror. it's important to adjust expectations and achievements, it keeps us on ground.

been a while since my last outfit post and as you may also recognize, i am losing some weight. and i'm happy that it's not because i'm sick or in a diet, it's because i've been busy working. my body adjusts quite amazingly whenever i get to do many things in certain period of time. i love my job even more! haha.

so, how are you darlings? i hope you are all in good shapes and happy state of mind. i've been very busy doing projects and i honestly feel very comfortable with where i am now. i get to meet more people and most of them are very very talented. i enjoy the fact that i won't have to betray my idealism by working just in the best place. i get to hang with cool inspiring people, listen to new cool music (sooner than others, i assume), and learn loads of new things. i am blessed to be where i am now. life is indeed good :)

i've been having a great week, a very great one indeed. boyfriend and i went out with my parents and i'm truly glad that he knows me very well including my selection of clothing. in this week, i get to hang out with my first class and i had fun. total fun! the kids are very enthusiastic and i get pumped up by it. boyfriend was also being the sweetest by being nice enough to take me to my first class. life is good. i'm thankful for everything i have in my life, i truly am.

it's been a quite productive week for me. had a business meeting for a (thank GOD) future fashion line and sharing knowledge with the kids. i don't know whether it's appropriate to tag myself a 'teacher' because i've never been taught to be one but how exciting it is with the fact that i'm going to have my own class? yes, very exciting! sharing knowledge is definitely one of my biggest passions in life. it now has come to my sense that i go to school to absorb knowledge and by the end of it i just want to share it (actually, NEED to share it). i accidentally met my TA last night and it was such a great short meeting. meeting him totally brought a great aura in me. i want to stay knowledgeable, i want to always be aware to new things and learn something from them. after all, sharing is probably one of the most simple yet very impacting things we can do during our lifetimes.

went out with the boyfriend last night, originally planned to grab some ice cream sweetness and then failed because, basically, we just love to drive around. haha. in love with the jacket!! it's really warm and comfy and soooo fit in. i'm loving the cutting and details of it and not to mention, the very affordable price (even boyfriend was surprised with the fact of how inexpensive it is).

i hope everyone had the best christmas and new year's celebration because i had TONS of blessings, fun and insanity, in a positive connotation, of course. celebrate both with my family and boyfriend. and too bad didn't take any outfit picture AT ALL during both occasions, too busy having fun, i'm sure.

as for me, no resolutions. improving into a better being is a must for each and everyday of my life and that's all i can do. stepping forward and not backwards. i'm in a current state of having heavy flu, so i act like a good girl; staying in, taking meds, having long hours of sleep. couple of projects i need to finish before valentine's day. oh goodness, deadlines, hello!
